The game takes place in the world of a typical “high fantasy”, where there is magic, elves, swords, locks and dungeons. We have to explore the big world, traveling through forests, snowy fields, the lands of the dead and volcanic wastelands.

“There will be a plot in the game, but your main task is to explore the world, look for rare objects, treasures and perform quests,” says Tolfram von Fink, the main and only developer of Sube World. Do not wait for some advanced simulation of life from the game. Sube World puts on a simple instinct of the researcher and Manckin, for whom new equipment and levels are more important than an interesting narrative.

There will be many quests, but all of them belong to one of a few types: NPC support, cave research, treasure search, murder of bosses, stripping dungeons, protecting temples from enemies waves. The only serious element of the epic RPG that the tungsten wants to add to his game is a system of reputation. “There are several kingdoms in this world, and Rollino sister sites, performing quests for them, you will increase your reputation in a particular faction. A higher reputation will open access to some cities and castles, as well as special objects and treasures, ”the author explains.

The role system is simple, but not primitive. At the start, you need to choose one of three standard classes – a warrior, a magician or archer. In the battles, each class uses one standard attack and several super -supervisors, different for each type of weapon. That is why I decided to turn to procedural generation. Developing this idea, I realized that I could get a truly prolonging gameplay, ”Tolfram explains.

The world of the game is endless, how endless and possibilities for pumping. Your goal is to become even stronger, to find the rarest objects and treasures, to explore as many lands as possible and defeat more and more dangerous bosses. If you extract ordinary “ore” directly from the environment, then special cubes that support the power of the spirit fall out of the bosses. They automatically turn on when you carry out a superior: for example, fiery cubes paid in your sword add damage to fire, and ice slows down the enemies. Some bonuses are combined – for example, the unclean power of the spirit (just like that) simultaneously treats the player and increases damage, and the power of wind enhances both the attack and the speed of movement.

Finally, in Cube World you can also build houses. After building a home, it is from there that you will go to search for new adventures, there you can also store the collected trophies and treasures. Unlike Minecraft, for construction it will have to be used not blocks, but, as in Terraria , Different architectural elements: windows, walls, doors and roofs. Each part needs a drawing related to its own special type of architecture (elven, orch, and so on). You can combine any details, but, having built a house in the same style, get a bonus to the characteristics of the hero.

Cube World began in June last year as a small hobby project of one person, but the game grows like on yeast, is overgrown with new details and turns from a banal minecraft clone into a large-scale mmorpg. Now it is at the stage of alpha testing, and almost every day the tungsten adds something new-races, objects, quests.
